RECOMMENDATIONS

I think the cold snowy weather is affecting my clothing choices.  The only things I find myself dreaming about wearing are pajamas, cozy robes and warm slippers.  Not exactly inspiration for a fashion blog post.   So lets concentrate on something other than fashion, just for today.  I love to wander around Sephora spritzing myself with new scents,  trying to finally find the PERFECT lipstick shade, examining makeup brushes to determine if the pricey ones really are better than the less expensive ones, etc etc.

I just discovered Trader Joes Antioxidant Facial Serum .  It has received rave reviews. I promise to report back on my experience with this product:                

Did you know if you layer  fragrance it will last much longer?  I first apply Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle  body lotion and then perfume

I deal with redness on my chin and cheeks.  Yesterday at Sephora I sampled First Aid Beauty's Anti-Redness serum and was quite impressed.  Apply after cleansing, prior to moisturizer:

Johnathan Dirt Texturing Paste remains a favorite for adding both lift and texture to my fine hair

Who could not love this faux leather, blush pink skirt from Zara?

Gap's dark wash Real Straight Jeans look very promising.  Have read good reviews on them:
